Lynne F. Solon had juvenile diabetes and endured the disease and its related complications for more than 30 years. In 1993, she died from complications of diabetes at the age of 42.
The positive spirit she exhibited in life was exceptional and continues to inspire people today. Lynne never let her health problems overshadow her caring, sensitive, and thoughtful interaction with people. She continues to be our inspiration in finding the cure for diabetes and helping those who must suffer through the disease and other disabilities.
