How Your Donation Makes a Difference

Your generous support powers meaningful programs and opportunities for those affected by diabetes and other physical and developmental disabilities. Donations support the following programs:

Summer Camp Grants

These grants provide summer camp experiences for youth living with diabetes. A summer camp program specific to youth with diabetes offers a fun, supportive environment where campers learn to manage their condition, build confidence, and form lasting friendships.

Scholarships for Students

High school graduates living with diabetes and/or other disabilities who are also pursuing college, trade school, or professional education can apply for scholarship funds. Recipients can reapply annually for continued support as they advance in their studies.

Life Skills & Education Programs

The foundation provides grants to other community programs that support individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. These programs help participants gain post-secondary education, work skills, and valuable life experiences.

Family Events like Pickleball Palooza

These inclusive events are sponsored and bring families together for fun, learning, and connection. The annual Pickleball Palooza allows children and families to enjoy a day of play while also discovering the joy of pickleball.

Why Should I Contribute?

Your contribution to the Lynne F. Solon Foundation transforms the lives of individuals living with diabetes and physical and developmental disabilities. Together, we create opportunities for all, foster independence, and build a more inclusive community, one person at a time.
